Green tea is picked and 'fixed' (usually steamed or pan-fired) within hours to prevent oxidization, 'withered' (i.e. laid out to withdraw moisture) then rolled into shape and dried.
Herbal Tea
Herbal teas are not, strictly speaking, real teas but are called so once they're infused in hot water. We take the same amount of care when selecting our herbal teas, only choosing the finest and best flavoured leaves and flowers. All our herbal teas are caffeine free.
The perfect amount
When to pick and how to handle the tea is an art that comes through experience. Then filling the teabag with the right amount of tea is something we really worked on for a perfect balance of flavour and smoothness.
Over to you – Always put the bag in the cup first and use freshly boiled water. Don’t rush the steep (follow instructions on the box). It is worth it!
